Our client aimed to develop a digital twin model of a marine vessel, with the primary objective of using it for later implementation into immersive gaming experiences. While modeling with accuracy was not a strict requirement, it was important that the model visually represented the real vessel in its entirety. The digital twin is also intended to be used in real-time data visualization and basic simulation functions, such as interactive valve operations.
To create a visually accurate 3D model of the vessel, including all architectural and mechanical features, with a specific focus on the missing shelter section.
The model will be optimized for gaming experiences and future data integration but does not require engineering-level precision.
Our engineering team evaluated the vessel and identified that only the shelter structure was pending for a complete digital twin.
Considering the future plan to build more detailed process-digital twins for other vessels, this project was approached with cost-efficiency and visual accuracy in mind.
We coordinated with the client regularly to ensure the final deliverable fits both the gaming simulation needs and potential real-time operational insights.
