Project Overview:
Structural BIM service for the Residential building
A multi-story Residential building is a proposed mixed-use development that will consist a tower with retail, office, and residential spaces. The project aims to achieve high standards of sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics, while meeting the budget and schedule requirements of the client.
Project Scope:
- Developing a 3D model of the structural system of the building using BIM software, based on the architectural and MEP designs provided by the client.
- Generating detailed construction drawings and documentation using Revit software, to facilitate the coordination.
- Providing BIM support and consultancy services to the client and other project participants, to address any issues or queries related to the structural design and BIM implementation.
Project Deliverables:
- A 3D structural model containing all the structural elements, such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, foundations, connections, etc., with accurate geometry, material properties.
- A structural analysis and design report in Structural Analysis format containing the results of the static and dynamic analysis, design checks, load combinations, load cases, load factors, etc., as well as the design assumptions, parameters, and references used.
- A set of construction drawings and documentation containing plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, annotations, dimensions, etc., for each structural component and system.
- A coordinated BIM model containing the integrated structural model with the architectural and MEP models, with clash detection and resolution features enabled.
- A BIM execution plan (BEP) document in PDF format containing the objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities, standards and protocols, workflows and processes, quality control measures, etc., for implementing BIM on the project.
